The author does not claim that the book is all encompassing, the sheer volume involved precludes such coverage, nor does he vouch for the veracity of the contents. Gold miners and those who dwell within the business tend to be given to embellishment and it is not uncommon to have several 'true' versions of the same story.

The book is meant solely as a tribute to the people in the industry who made Canada the third largest producer of gold in the world. It is left to others to pick up and elaborate on any of the stories contained herein.
