Stories of the Old Ways for the Future Generations: First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun: First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun (Big River People) have lived in our traditional territory since time began. Traditionally our ancestors have lived on the land, while maintaining the balance between the land, the animals and our people. Today we continue to maintain this cultural tie to our ancestors though our daily lives and through our Land Claims and Self Government Agreements.

This book is intended to be a first step to ensure that the future generations learn the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun culture. It is hoped that interest will be generated within the First Nation to produce more booklets and to do projects that will maintain our lifestyle, culture and land.
