Photographer Eric A. Hegg joined the mad dash for gold to the Klondike. He went with photographic equipment and a desire to chronicle the Gold Rush. This book is loaded with his images, including some taken in Nome after the discovery of gold there. Hegg's photographs reflect the folly and the glory of the stampede.
